Analyze this…

Thank you for Jerry’s blog post on how he used wordle in his classroom. What an opportunity for student’s to analyze the election season. Below you will see both Obama’s and McCain’s acceptance speeches from the conventions. Think of the class discussion this could spark!

Thank you for your blog post……
It got me to thinking about the use of wordle’s and if perhaps they can show bias too. (not yours — but just in general) Can they speak without saying a word.
What if you had gathered one from Obama that had been red/white/blue in comparision to the dark McCain one? Does the more organized look of the 2nd present an idea as well??

@JenW You know… I didn’t even think about the bias. The colors were the random generated wordle colors. If I would have changed them to patriotic colors or ‘good’ and ‘bad’ colors depending on which way I lean would be interesting… WOW! Jerry’s blog has opened a huge higher order can of worms (in a good way).
